What a find JM, that lady in black looks kind of familiar I wonder if it is a likeness of someone famous?

It's delightful!

The longer I look at it, the more I like it. It reveals its beauty slowly.

Fantastic shot.

An interesting painting. For some reason it makes me think of Wallace Simpson.

Absolutely fantastic photo JM! Love the colors, angles, and architecture.
PS - I met Cieldequimper of Versailles DP, and we were talking about blogs we enjoyed and your name came up of course, and then we both admitted that we couldn't pronounce the name of your town (which I was glad to hear I wasn't the only one)! :)

JM, From where you are when you shot this one is truly the exact place it should be shot! GREAT JOB WITH ALL THE ANGLES! Plus the Lady looks a happy but I think at night it would look a bit scary for me hahaha

I'm a big fan of street art...this is a great find. Love how you framed the shot with the buildings along the street.

I like everything in this picture, above all the framing and the 'soft' contrast between the pastel colors and the black and white!

I see TBecque has been telling you all about my quanders about the pronunciation of Oeiras! ;-)

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this shot with the colours, the shade, the sunshine, the street lamp and the lady who for some reason reminds me of Edith Piaf...

Who is that lady in black? Edith Piaf?

I agree with Sharon. I thought of her when I first saw the painting. Interesting subject!

I think Sharon is right - it is Wallace Simpson! A fascinating shot ... you're photographic eye served you well here. But some dingbats had to ruin the painting with their scribblings!

Interesting stencil, Jose, made outstanding by your framing. Actually, not to deprecate Lisbon, but this is something that I would expect from Jilly or Nathalie and their village. Do you have any idea who the portrait represents? There is a small resemblance to Wallace Simpson.
