A very intriguing way to illustrate an insect. It's a honey of a sculpture!

What fun!

That would be worrying if that managed to fly, its bad enough being stung by a small bee, i cant imagine how much that would hurt.
Excellent image !

This looks very much like the big bugs sculptures that are now on display at the Desert Botanical Garden here. I enjoy taking pictures of bees at work as you know. However, one this size my set me in the opposite directions very quickly.

That's a very interesting 'sculpture', Ive not see ceramic quite that large. A lot of interesting details.

Now that is a BIG bee! What a great sculpture, JM! Terrific captures as always and I am glad he's sculptured and not the real thing -- talk about a bee sting!!! Have a great evening!

Interesting addition to this garden and a fitting tribute to a man who liked a bit of fun.

At first glance I thought it was a really close macro of a tiny bee, then I realized it is a wonderfully detailed sculpture!

Fantastic creatures! And in ceramic? That would take a very skilled artist indeed!

The question is "What would you be if you were bitten by a bee while you were just being yourself?"

Gosto de esculturas no geral e acho que as que são colocadas em locais abertos devem interagir com a paisagem. Achei esta, em especial, muito criativa.

They are terrific! I love the first photo with the reflections in the eyes! The sky in the second one is great! To be honest I would be happy with a bit warmer weather:)
Have a nice weekend!
