±MAISMENOS±

LXFactory, Lisbon

±MAISMENOS± (plus minus) is an intervention project that has been reflecting on the model of political, social and economic organisation that manages life in current societies. It questions, above all, the social implications and consequences resulting from it, displaying its programmatic expression reduced to an equation of simplicity and opposites: more/less, positive/negative, black/white.

(Keep in mind Portugal is one of the Eurozone countries which already had the need of a bailout)

It strikes me as odd when things like this are written in English in foreign countries. Who is the audience?

A sad sentiment indeed and unfortunately all too true!!

This LXFactory is quite a radical place JM, a place where you can take your time reading, whilst drinking hot chocolate or if the mood takes you, have heavy political discussion. Something for everyone!
p.s. I keep meaning to say that I like your new profile shot, elephants with their trunks up...very good luck yeh!

Pretty interesting sentiment. But how did all the debt come about? It wasn't the common folks that got us into this mess. It was the bankers and financiers who, unregulated, tore out the soul of the countries in order to enrich themselves. But, here they expect the middle and lower-classes to bear the brunt of their perfidy.

The world is the audience.

Yes I too wonder how it happened. Who was turning a blind eye.
