"Thirteen Hours"
Eye-catching installation by Angolan artist Binelde Hyrcan at the 'No Fly Zone' exhibition on display at the Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon.
Angola (former Portuguese colony) is far from being a democracy. I believe these 'generals' represent the very wealthy and corrupt elite who rules the country amidst gold and diamonds while the people live in the trash.
Why 'Thirteen Hours'? I don't know.

Wave Barrier
Sea Promenade at Monte Estoril
It looked much nicer before these rocks have been placed there, but the sea promenade has been destroyed winter after winter in recent years, so...
The sea's advance is a major problem on Portugal's coastline.

Respect - Love - Be Kind
A legion of aliens has invaded Carcavelos. Judging from the words on their spaceships, they came in peace. :-)

Campo Pequeno Arena
The Lisbon bullring was built in 1890. Despite all the controversy, bull fights have not yet been abolished in Portugal - BIG SHAME! However, a profound renovation took place and the building reopened as a multi-event venue in 2006.
