Your plants and plant photography are so fine! In this case, they look a bit "sticky." These are not soft and cuddly plants, but best considered from a safe distance, right? :-)
Beautiful, JM! I have seen fewer of this kind of cactus in bloom, probably because beavertail is more common in the wild where I have visited. These are simply gorgeous!

Blooming beautiful
We have a cactus identical to your middle photo in bloom on the patio of our Scottsdale home.
You photographed the bloom beautifully. Looks like a prickly group of plants.
Você fez um post muito especial, trazendo luzes e lindas cores para nosso dia!Super obrigada!

These spiky cactuses look like proud of their beauty. I love the first one.
Beautiful shots JM. I love how these cactus get a little crown of flowers when they bloom.

Simply gorgeous! I gave up the cacti keeping only the succulents, but sometimes I think I was wrong...
Instead of a crown of thorns, it's a crown of flowers, how wonderful! Happy weekend JM!
@Virginia: Great news! :-) The INSIDE OUT Project in Lisbon was posted on January 17-22.
