Your technical skills are what's amazing to me. Wonderfully exposed with just the right amount of color and yet one can still see detail in the highlights! Super job.
Re your question about the anhingas: I have no idea what they were looking at. I watched them for quite awhile (we were on the 8th tee box at the golf course) and they just sat looking in the same direction. Perhaps it was something the human eye could not perceive? :-)

There is a lot of emotion in this portrait.
Wow...very touching portrait.
What an exceptional portrait! And you've done a nice job photographing it too. :)
A great actress in a demanding role for an excellent portrait. Sarah Bernhardt is portrayed in the same role in her monument in Paris.
Beautiful light and shadows JM, a tragic expression!
A very moving, emotional portrait indeed, JM, and a wonderful capture!
Have a good week!

Thanks for sharing... it's a powerful image.
I'm really quite taken by that portrait; the folds of the head mantle are lovely and exquisitely done.
Great plays need great players to interpret them...
Such a sad image but extremely stunning.
What a sad expression on her face, truly convincing!
God bless you!
