I like public art, including this installation, although if there is a place that probably does not need artistic enhancement, it would be the lovely ocean scape that you have in this area. But it is a good location to showcase the art because there would be lots of people strolling along here here they will see the art.
I like all of these very much! Excellent creative vision and execution. The first photo, though, is intriguing because of the sense of the thing collapsing into itself.

These large-scale sculptures look great in this environment. The first one really catches my eye.
Wooden leg?? I thought is was a giant chocolate coated ice cream bar. :)

Fabulous shots. Love that first one!
creation amusante
You knew I was sooo going to love this post. I would like to see the lobster trap from the side, I am very curious as to how deep it is. Great post!
Cool sculptures!! I think the 'leg' looks like an ice cream bar too.
What a perfect spot of this art show! I'd enjoy strolling here and looking at the great art.
The first is funny and at least a bit creative. The other two are a desperately banal... but I like the bench in the last one.
me either, i thought it was an ice cream !:) i like the concept of the horizon !
@Dina, Wayne and babzy: IT IS! "Wooden Leg" (Perna de Pau) is the name of this specific ice cream bar! :-)
i like that ice cream bar! :)
I love the sculptures, particularly the first one and great captures as always, JM! Hope you've had a great week!

Wonderful sculptures! I really like the Wooden Leg. It looks like a chocolate popsicle melting into the ground. :)
Vice stuff, quite evocative.
I especially like the "wooden leg"!
I wish there was a giant lobster in there!
I'm with Dina, the second one is misnamed IMHO!
Love them all although the 3rd looks a little too snakey pour moi.

A nice wooden leg ice cream bar and this seaside walk and I'd be happy.
These are wonderful. I would like the wooden leg for garden art.
Gosto muito de esculturas, e o modo como ela interage como o que está no entorno é fundamental.
I like this!:)
I like the ice cream bar too, and I think the name, "Wooden Leg," is really funny!

The sculptures are fantastic JM but the setting even more so, what a fabulous background.
Not a bad place for the cool sculptures.
