Formerly a private house built in 1902, it is now open to the public after some restoration thanks to the Cascais council who has recently purchased it.
Probably a summer home! :-) It's beauty is overwhelming. So glad that it's been restored and is now open to regular folks. Can you imagine one family rumbling about in that place? I'll bet the interior is sumptuous also!

That was some home.
It is a confection, quite fantastical. I can imaging sitting on the terrace, sipping Madeira and watching the water.
It is a beautiful house and at a great location. That soft peach color is luscious.
