When one comes from a city where every square foot is expensive, it always amazes me that this can happen. However, I love the photograph, there is something so picturesque about the graffiti, the color of the roof tiles versus the brick and the greenery. Such a perfect photo.

belle maison de campagne
That one might be beyond repair.
oh, that is sad. you just know it was a grand place at one time!
The house does look like it has seen better days! It is still pretty to me though.
I do so hate to see such lovely old houses/buildings going to ruins! I always wonder about their history. Great photo! Have a great evening, JM!
Even more sad because it was probably a quite nice building...
This place was a beauty in its day. Your decay series is excellent.

That's sad. It could be so beautiful.
Must have been a fine building back in the days.
What a contrast with the shot above it.
Such a shame. It might be salvageable, though. It must have been quite grand at one time.
Ruined, but maybe not without hope JM.
Someone went to the effort to brick up the doors and windows, then left it to crumble. How odd.
