Industrial Setting

LXFactory, Lisbon

A former threads and fabrics company dating back to 1846, that was kept hidden for years, is now a creative island, being the stage for a diverse set of happenings related to fashion, publicity, communication, fine arts, architecture, music, etc.
Background: 25th of April Bridge (1966) over the Tagus estuary. The red structure is the railroad to the south bank.

Very clean for an industrial setting. The old bricks are nice.

I love the composition of that second shot!

So great that it is being used and people will remember. So many old buildings just get pulled down which I find very sad. Diane

Like the others, I do like to see old buildings finding a new life! Great shots for the day and love your composition as always, JM!

The outside is just as eclectic as the inside shots you've shown us of the LXFactory JM, suits perfectly.
p.s. I'm loving your ever changing profile image.

I like those old bricks too. That bridge looks really high!

An excellent way to revitalize old buildings and former industrial zones.

This is one of the coolest places I've seen in a long time. May it live long and prosper!
