I don't think I have a Best Photo of the Year, but I like this trio:
Takashi Amano's "Forests Underwater" on display at Lisbon Oceanário
São João das Maias Fortess (1653) at Santo Amaro, Oeiras
Rossio Square, Downtown Lisbon

These are all fantastic shots but that middle one is a stunner to me. There is something so beautiful in the stark simplicity of it. Happy New Year.

Todas as fotos são belíssimas... mas como sou uma amante incondicional do mar, fiquei encantada com a floresta submarina! Aliás, o Oceanário de Lisboa encantador por si só!!!

I particularly like number 1 and number 3. They're both spectacular. Happy new year !
ReplyDeleteYou show us so many wonderful photos from Lisbon and its environs, how COULD you pick just one favorite photo? I like each of these three. Well done, as usual. All the best for a happy 2016.
ReplyDeletei remember these! they are all superb but i think if i had to pick just one, it would be the first one! happy new year jm!!
ReplyDeleteI remember the top and bottom one which I loved when you posted them. But the middle one I can't quite remember ... I am not sure if that is because I didn't see it or because I am blown away by how awesome it is this time. I love the cracks and how the mottled clouds mirror the mottled colours in the building.
ReplyDeleteLas tres imágenes tienen su encanto, pero me gusta especialmente la primera
ReplyDeleteFeliz año nuevo!!
Fabulous shots. I really love that middle one!
ReplyDeleteI usually don't participate in the best photo of the year b/c I think it's too hard! I like these choices though. Hope you have a wonderful new year!
ReplyDeleteMaravilhosas todas:) Adoro a fonte no Rossio!!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely gorgeous
ReplyDeletethe top two really caught my attention
All 3 are amazing, but I do prefer the first one!
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but am very partial to the one in the middle. I also remember another, presumably a mother and her young daughter looking out at the ocean standing on a stone landing flanked by two pillars. That one was also very memorable for me.
ReplyDeleteVery liked all of them. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Miklos
