Hmmm...very interesting. Wonderful photo. I'd like to hear the author's interpretation of that quote. I know it's supposed to be poetic but it doesn't make any sense to me. Unless she's talking about never dying in the sense of the legacy left by those who have made a difference in the world.
Maybe it's all too deep for this fragile mind on a Monday morning? :-))

Re. your question re. CDP: About a week or so ago, Eric mention on FB that the host company for our site had been hacked and they had to rebuild everything. He had hoped that it would have been completed this past week-end but I don't think that happened!
Beautiful and after attending several Day of the Dead celebrations here, I now know that the marigold is the flower most often used in the memorials and alters. She was a remarkable woman. V
I'm with Lowell, this quote doesn't really make sense. It sounds poetic but doesn't hang together. However, I like the art with its reference to Day of the Dead via the marigolds. A unique contribution to the meme.

The flowers look like the smallest of marigolds. Very effective. Kahlo was a riveting artist.
