I would have never thought the top shot was a poinsettia, the leaves look great with the drops. It will look even more amazing starting in a few weeks.

Wonderful macro of the rain drops. I also have a few macros of water drops on tropical leaves, which I will post some time in the future.

We had some poinsettia bushes at our old house and they were always in bloom at Christmas. They add a lot of color and festive feeling to the holidays. I've heard the leaves are poisonous to animals, though. At the same time, I've never know animal dumb enough to eat them. A human animal might... :-)
