I had been trying to remember the name of your blog all day and then you left your post. Perfect.
I love this building such clean lines. Quite a contrast to your post from a couple of days ago.

More great colours. i like that style. It looks more contemporary than the 50s. It must have been considered very modern when it was built.

Gosh. This is stunning in its simplicity. I like it and I even like the colors.

To answer your question about the Alien. I walked outside and looked over and there it was on the Spruce Tree. It was stuck in the bark. I got my camera and took the picture. How long did I wait? No time. Just saw and shot the picture in maybe two minutes.

And still today, they call that "modern."

PJ, glad you have found me! :-)

Wayne, can you imagine what people thought about Brasilia, when most of its buildings have been designed in the 50s by fabulous architect Oscar Niemeyer?! :-)

Abraham, thank you so much for answering my question.

Boise Diva, yes, it still is considered modern! :-)

Thank you all for your visit and comments.

Is it really from the fifties?

I like the clean-cut lines and geometry of this building, and the colors too. It could qualify as the minimalist architecture of today.

Nice JM.

looks like a 50's building but not 50's colour. Oh and no I didn't go inside the museum. too creepy.

Yes, Eki, the avant-garde 50s were just great, so contemporary! I really love the architecture from that period!

Mo, I think you are right! From what I remember, the colours are darker now...

Thank you all for your comments.

Great color, so easy on the eye, I'll consider having our house painted like that!

Good to have one's own sun ready on the wall for days when the weather doesn't cooperate fully.
