Amazing shot - were you diving?? We get Jellyfish invasions a couple of days after the full moon every month but I dont think our Jelly fish look quite as colorful - its more translucent clear - beautiful colors!

Wow, great pic! They look like they glow in the dark. I wouldn't want to run into those at the beach ...

Great photo.
I was at the oceanarium when the Lisbon Expo'98 was held.
I remember that was what I liked the most.
There was a nutria just give birth to a calf and was playing with her. Does it live yet?

We were housed in Cascais. A beautiful coastal town.

No, Kala, I was not diving! :-) The photo was taken at Lisbon public aquarium, called 'Oceanário'.

Rachel, they really glow in the dark, maybe it's the light of the tank...

Per, that was a good one, you made me laugh! :-)

Murcia, glad you have enjoyed the Oceanário! And yes, the nutrias are still alive and they keep on having babies! :-)
Oeiras is just half way to Cascais (if you're coming from Lisbon).

Thank you all for the comments.

l'année des méduses, vraiment impressionnant, mais cette danse des méduses est très belle à voir.

year jellyfish, really impressive, but this dance jellyfish is very beautiful to see.

Do these one's sting? Lovely shot.

Thank you, Lavenderlady!

Olivier, as they have a permanet flow in the tank, the dancing never stops and that is really beautiful!

Kris, I have no idea if they sting... They really look kind of sweet, but with these animals, we never know... :-)
