Old trams are becoming bars in public parks like this one at Oeiras downtown.

I have to say "snap" to this one, cos we have the old railway station here in Malta which is now used as a cafeteria, and they serve some lovely cheesecakes! Great photo!

The photo came out very well. I'd much prefer to see the trams still in operation rather than as restaurants and bars.

I'm cranky that way.

I like these very old nostalgic trains. There could be more of them everywhere.

very surreal to see such an old train stopped by the water.

Nice photo. We have people living in old railway cars here.

Aww, but it should be rolling about decisively and regularly. I agree with Wayne.

Nice shot though! And now that I'm here I might as well have a beer.

Wayne and Per, I know exactly what you mean cause I do feel the same!... The thing is it became impossible to keep most of the tram circulation due to the increasing traffic in Lisbon. Fortunatelly many of them are still rolling on the main historic parts of the capital and hopefully that will not end, once those circuits are an important part of the tourism atraction.
Anyhow I'm glad they keep them as bars instead of dismantling them...
