Cavalia is in town

Several shows take place on this spot by the river Tagus estuary. Before Cavalia we had Cirque du Soleil with their blue and yellow tents. In the background of the picture below you can see the 25th of Abril bridge in Lisbon and Christ the King on the other bank (click on the photo to enlarge).

The top photo looks very exotic, and the sky is a beautiful blue, too.

I agree with Kate! Exotic is the perfect description of the 1st photo! I love the unusual roofline against the blue sky!

OMG, the second photo is absolutely stunning!

Christ the King is that white tower? What's the leaning modern building?

The Cavalia sounds exciting! Will you be watching any of the shows? One of my dreams is to watch the Cirque du Soleil one of these days, but I think there's very little chance of them coming to the Philippines.

Cool tents. I clicked on the Cavalia link because I had never heard of this before. Man that is impressive and I bet it would be fun to go watch. Have a great weekend.

I recognize those tents. I saw Cavalia about 2 years ago and enjoyed it very much.

Yes, Tanya, I've watched Cirque du Soleil, it's their 3rd time year, I guess. They are absolutely fantastic!!!!

Hilda, King the Christ is on top of the white tower. The modern brown building (far right) is a navigation control tower for ships entering/leaving the estuary.

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving your comments! :-)

WHOA ... those tips of the white tents(?) against the clear blue sky definitely make a winning photo. I like this one. Very nice JM!

Beautiful contrast in colors. I just viewed the Cavalia site. Sounds/looks wonderful. No such thing exists or ever visits Salem.
