The palace gardens

Oeiras has a vast cultural agenda; most of the events take place at the gardens of the palace, from spring to autumn. On the right photo things were getting ready for the night show; some performances take place in this area, others by the cascade.

What a terrific advantage to have a setting such as this for your cultural events. Enjoy...I know that I would!

You're surronded by history , JM. The palace looks like a fabulous place for a gathering.

A lucky town to have such a beautiful place for events..
Is it in town or a little further?

ennn, these are nice photos...I guess your place must be a less populated area, I barely see people in your photos!

Marie-Noyale, the palace is right in the center of downtown, the city has developed around it. The closer to the palace, the older the buildings are.

Hzdp, I allways try to get photos without people but, yes, Oeiras is a quite place, that's why I love lving here.
