Poets Park - what a romantic idea! Beautiful. Especially the first monument :) It's made of wood??

What another wonderful idea. I feel I live on an island of Philistines when I read and view this. It's fascinating and beautiful.

No Fio, all statues are stone made.

Tr3nta, the parks is right in front of Oeiras shopping mall and SATU terminal, near the A5 highway (Lisbon-Cascais).

Maybe the concept of a theme park could get a different meaning one day! A real good initiative this seems to be.

The first is beautiful but I love the whimsy of the head with so much happening. Wonderful photos. You live in a very beautiful place.

Very beautiful & informative. It is so rare for poets to be recognized like this! I will look up the poets. The US has a new Poet Laureate - Kay Ryan, & I only know cuz one of the women in my book club suggested we read her poetry for January's get together.
BTW the tower in Berkeley (or the Campanille) was built in 1914.

I tell you, JM, you have an eye for beauty. This sculpture garden, well I could easily get lost there for a few hours - with my camera of course! (I take way too many pictures.0
