They left the best part of the wall it seems. Elegant arch, perfect for a picture.

that certainly looks ancient

What a beautiful park (I clicked)!

Somehow, it's good that the rest of the wall is gone; you probably get a better view of the park!

Have a nice weekend, in the park or elsewhere!

great title and great shot. fragile yet it calls out it has strength in history for architectural pieces like this to survive. it is a good location and I bet many people take photos standing under this exquisite arch

A beautiful arch! I like the way it frames the lamp post and is that a fountain behind it too?

I love the symmetry of this pitcure. It's so well centred. Many thanks.

Let's hear it for those engineers and stone masons back in the day that figured out how to make things last.

Great composition, and I'm enjoying all the green as everything is brown here right now.

What a lonely arch without its wall! I've been catching up on your blog, beautiful photos as usual!

The arches are undoubtedly my favorite. They also contain great symbols.

Nevertheless, you might be interested in this video of Rob Forbes on TED forum, Davos, sharing his snapshots! Do tell me how did you find his ideas.

Humble regards!
