Is the shell tied to the door an improvised door knocker? I guess this helps show again that necessity is the motherhood of invention.
Wow, I really like this one. The color on the door is beautiful and you got some great lighting.
Love the decaying beauty.
This door is very unique to me, and i like it.
Yes, David! :-) I've just added that information on the post for a better understanding of the reason why I shot the door.
Oh how perfect! What a find. Love this image.
Great photo. You've captured the door beautifully.
Great shot. I think of shells as being a bit fragile. You wouldn't want to knock very hard with it. Or, maybe there is a supply of replacements.
JM,You know how I love old doors. This one is grand and the shell is the perfect accessory! Beautiful color too.V
Very nice capture, doors are so interesting and this one is a beauty.
How cool that you notice and share details like that.
I thought the same thing as Sharon. My kids would break that on day 1 and scratch up the door more. It does make a pretty and interesting photo.
Fabulous door. Such a wonderful color. And the shell knocker is delightful!
And behind such a door there's got to be an interesting story and an interesting person to meet.
Hi JM,I've been catching up on your remarkable photos. Even without the knocker this door would be a beauty, but that shell really makes it special. Thanks for your visit to Pasadena today. You made my day!
Love the doorknocker...very inventive...but the color is what drew my eyes to this photo! Very nice!
