Wow. I love everything about this photo. The bright but weathered color and patina of the building, the green interior, the pattern of the bricks in the sidewalk, and the flannel shirt and posture of the man reading. This photo belongs in a book or gallery.

The magazine or newspaper must have been of great interest if he could not wait to go inside and get comfortable read it, unless he wanted to look at the pictures in the bright sun.

Wow, this is a stunning shot. I agree with you about that green. That's an amazing color to greet you whent the door opens.

Nice colourful picture. I think the guy is looking for a painter in the yellow pages.

Love the colors. I think I fell in love with Portugal when I was teaching about Columbus' voyages...

Yes, the green, but together with the orange? Even more explosive!

Who needs glasses when you have that light!!! May be I should start painting my house with these colors and my eyesight would get better!!
You were there at the Perfect time!

Oh JM, this tugs at my heartstrings. The plaid shirt, baggy pants, scuffed shoes, full head of gray, reading without glasses in bright light. This is how my Dad was the last year of his life.

Here's a last photo.

By the way, this is an outstanding photo, the colors, the gentle man, whose everyday life you have captured so graciously.

The colours are wonderful, but the focus for me is the old man. Wonder what his life had been like? It's a great photo of an everyday scene for this older gentleman.
