When we were in Lisbon, we went to a palace outside of Lisbon that had a stream that was channeled into beautiful tile work. The palace was the Portugal's version of Versailles. Thanks for your additional comments on the topic of Native Americans. Fascinating history about Columbus and Portugal's silence about the Spain's mistake in sailing West to try and reach India. How did Portugal know that the best route to India was not sailing West?
