The cascade 'backstage'

I have previously posted some frontal shots of the Poets Cascade at the gardens of Oeiras Palace; these are the back stairs leading to the top.

I second many of the other comments, JM. That first image is gorgeous to my eye: the stained concrete and the heavy geometry of lines. I love this aspect of your photographic eye. A perfect example of the difference between pretty and beautiful.
