That is a wonderful shot JM! I did not even see those birds until I enlarged the picture.

Bom dia !Hi JM !
(Eu contei 26 gaivotas!???)
Beautiful place but I bet it is dangerous for swimming.

Great view of the nature.

Olá Léia, bom dia!
I counted more then 100 birds, I've never seen so many together! I think the 'white' ones are youngsters.
By the way, não são gaivotas mas sim, rôlas-do-mar (consideravelmente mais pequenas) :-)

I really had to look closely to see the flock! Amazing! The angle of this shot is great.

Intriguing...I didn't see the birds at first, either. Beautiful pic. It looks rather like the birds are waiting for things to calm down before they go about their business - whatever that is!

Wow, I didn't even notice them. I was so pulled in by the water! Great shot!

Did they just not see you up there taking their pictures? I would think they'd fly away! Love that water, Beautiful!!!

You can really feel the power of the waves in this photo.

amazing. enlarging the photo was a big surprise. Your narrative fits perfectly! I am glad you enjoyed the absinthe photo and the palm tree resort. At some point, I will do a field trip to Sedona and show the beautiful red rock area, which always wows everyone. Sedona is one of my favorite places to go!

Very appropriate observation (in picture and words) in this Darwin year.

This seascape looks great for its detail of birds and the colorful waves.

Oddly, unlike other commenters I noticed the birds immediately. I enlarged the photo and looked everywhere for something else that might be camoflaged ... a stone fish or something.

If you didn't write that caption, I wouldn't even have noticed the birds! Fantastic camouflage. Fantastic shot of the swirling waters too!
