I think that's funny ... that a cow should be such a surprise in any season. I like the shot.
Maybe you have a family of cows mooving into town.
Cows are an everyday site here! Aren't they cute?! I lvoe the way you photographed her :)
Haha, and it's a great grassroots-level shot. Enjoy the cow while she's there. I haven't seen a cow in a long time. Hey JM, would you join us at Camera-Critter Sunday meme? This is a perfect post for it. You just have to sign in on Mr. Linky at http://camera-critters.blogspot.com/ and maybe write a comment that it is your first time, then wait for new readers to enjoy your blog.
Cows are nice animals. You have a perfect example of a cow-lick right in the middle of her forehead. If this cow were in Australia I would guess its breed to be Fresian. But I do not know about Portuguese cows. Either way, Fresian is from the Low Countries so you might have them too.
All I can say is Mooo!
Awww...she's cute! I hope she's not lost!
Great shot. I just want to reach out and scratch his/her head!
And, I certainly hope that you welcomed her properly. If there are no others around, she should become a celebrity!
What a fantastic shot! Did you get a kiss after having taken the photo??? :-)
This photo heal me.
Haven't you heard of Cow Adoption JM? Give that cute thing a good home!

It is a great shot of the cow.
That cow is always there, but it's really strage a cow near the railroad in Oeiras!!!
*lol* Unusual where you live, but here - in the rural parts - it's quite normal.
