The tile work in your buildings is really just stunning!
I have a friend going to Portugal this September and I'm sure she's going to have a fantastic time.
Thanks for your concern about the typhoon, JM. We will be safe — Metro Manila rarely gets hit very hard. With more than 20 typhoons every year (that was already our 5th for the year and typhoon season's just begun), Filipinos have learned to be resilient. Still not easy for many poor communities in other provinces that get devastated though, but aid always comes — mostly from fellow Filipinos, I'm proud to say. Again, thank you.

Beautiful. Is that tile surrounding those balcony windows or is the decoration painted?
Yes, Brattcat, it's tile.
ville rose (comme Toulouse)
A slightly unusually menacing sky but wow, those tiles !
Nice palace and those tiles, they are beautiful. It's seems that they are everywhere in your country (and all really pretty!)
Oeiras has a lot of wonderful old buildings. I enjoy the architecture.
Bom dia JM!
Another beautiful palace!
Fabulous shot!
Have a nice weekend

I agree, the tile work is nice! I like the roof color too.
Fantastic, and that sky!!
Revisitar os locais sentado numa cadeira é um incentivo a sair de casa :)
A total different side of Oeiras from the one you've showed us on the past days. Maybe it's the sky that gives it a different look.
Beautiful building! Really representative and elegant!
lovely colors
Nicely balanced photograph, JM. The building is very restrained and elegant.
What a gorgeous buiilding...although it looks like you have cloudy skies.
Another of your wonderfully composed photos, JM. Grand building. How long have you lived there?
Wonderful building with beautiful back ground.
I think this is the first time I've seen a cloud in your skies.
