I took this shot around 5pm yesterday (35ºC). Now can you imagine how crowded this beach will be in the peak on summer? That's why I've started going to my 'secret hidden places' on this coast. I will only be back here next October...
Maybe I'm the only one who goes to a beach at 5 in the morning or afternoon? I don't wanna get tanned :). I don't like crowded beach either, so just keep your secret hidden place for you. Happy escaping.
Is such temperature common over there at this time of the year? I'm really impressed... On high summer it will be scorching! Good to have some alternative places to remain away from the crowd. Is "Serra da Estrela" such an option in summer? Cezar
When I see photos like this, I realize how much I miss the ocean. Crowds don't bother me that much since I'm a real "people-watcher" person. I need to be near large bodies of water. The Mississippi River which I love flows close to our neighborhood, but it just isn't the same thing!! Your private beach sounds wonderful.
I like beaches as long as the water is warm enough for a quick dip. Here the water is too damn cold for everything, so that's why I rarely go to ones here. I went to Viña del Mar in peak season, and the only time we managed to go to the beach was early in the morning, and we left before lunchtime. After that, it gets too crowded. Here, beaches don't get that warm, and that's fine for me :).

I was there a couple of years ago. Beautiful place.
This beach is probably popular and will be crowded. It makes a nice picture.
Looking forward to photos of your hidden beach.

Ah, the beach! Another month and a half and then I'll be sunning myself somewhere on a beach...

It's so beautiful that I can see why people flock to it! Where is your "secret" place? Oh, that's right, it's a "secret."
