Bom dia querido amigo!
This sky is outstanding!
Lovely picture!

( as pedras formam um detalhe maravilhoso nessa foto e minha imaginaçao levanta asas... poderiam ser "cabeças"observando o lindo horizonte azul?)

Have a nice weekend

Why is the bridge called 25th of April bridge? 25th of April is very important in Australia ... it is ANZAC day (our day of war rememberance). What is even more strange is that we have a fairly new bridge in Sydney that looks similar to that ... named Anzac Bridge.

I enlarged the photo and the view of the bridge is spectacular, JM. I like the way you framed the rocks.

Joan Elizabeth,

Portuguese have lived for 48 years under the dictatorship of Salazar. On the 25th of April 1974 a revolution took place and we knew, at last, what democracy is like.
By the way, the previous name of the bridge (built 1966) was... Salazar!

Beautifully composed, JM. The rocks give us such a solid foundation while the bridge looks weightless.

Stunning view. The bridge reminds me a great stay in Lisbon.

What a beautiful scene. That bridge reminds me of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Lovely composition, JM. I enlarged the photo, but you were too far from the bridge, it's like a tiny line. Happy weekend.

Hi JM, thanks for the explanation, I guess the bridges are about both about freedom of the people. By the way I love the composition of the shot.

Wonderful waterside view! You live in a beautiful place. Do you know Lisbon's "Sailor Girl?" Do you ever meet for a CDP blogger coffee?

The blues are of such varied hues, and the rocks break up the several horizon lines. Very nice photo!!

The rocks are my favorite here. Good use of them for a promenade.
