My favourite is the whit - blue one.
I like especially the blue one, so original pattern on the walls:)
I think that's wonderful. Not everything needs to be the same; some individuality adds interest. And like you said, people have their own preferences...so, I have no favorite.

do like the blue tiles but I suppose a coat of paint is more cost effective. MB
I, too, am surprised that they were allowed to alter the outsides so dramatically. We in Australia have preservation orders preventing this but we do not have much old quality housing whereas you might have tonnes of it.
Office building or apartments? Must be nice to have a balcony, non? Nice urban snap!
A good catch! I wonder what they have done to the inside.
There is beauty of simplicity on the house on the left, but the house with the tiles has a richness!!
It is a pity that such typically Portuguese houses suffer this type of "updating". There they go by lower the traditions...
They are both very smart-looking. I'd be very happy to have my flat covered in these tiles, though I guess they might not last too long here!
