At first i thought it was a view down a pipe, but a bike rack? Brilliant and a cool design too :)

I think I may have your bikes. Strangely hypnotic.

The emptiness draws the eye in. Nice theme day composition.

Super composition. This is another good example as to why you deserved the Pixel Perfect award!

Love this spiral effect and being dragged through, JM.

Lovely choice for a difficult theme.

I agree with the others. This was an inspired response to the 'empty' theme.

I, too, thought it was a pipe. A bike rack! Great perspective! Something we see all the time and don't explore a different angle -- when clearly we should!

Excellent shot. I have never seen a bike rack like that. Very cool. MB

I would have never guessed a bike rack. It could make someone dizzy if you stare long enough.

How clever. Would never have realised this is a bike parking place. Super image.

I also thought this was a pipe of some kind. What an unusual take on the theme, and great composition and shadows.

Thank you for your comment about my empty crocodile mouth. If you haven't checked it out yet, Julie's "ghost bird" on Scottsdale Daily Photo is another unusual and stunning interpretation of the empty theme.

That's wild. It reminds me of something out of Hitchcock's Vertigo.

After all the above comments, I don't think I can add anything remotely original. Who would have thought to photograph the rack at this fascinating angle? Kudos for creativity!
