Very imperial! I lived in Lisbon for a while, in Loures, but I don't remember the horses. Time to come back, maybe. By the way, for your first anniversary: parabens!

The Empire Square was built to house the Portuguese World Exhibition in 1940, so the sculptures date back to 1939 or so.
