The blue tiles are very Portuguese, interesting to see them in the Egyptian palace. Quite harmonious yet!
God bless you!

From your other posts I know why this place is called Palace of Egypt! The way they restored the building is excellent.
The azulejos are simply fantastic and the new modern addition to the old farmhouse is practically seamless.

Really nice group of photographs. That first, with all of those earth tones and angles, is beautiful. As is the tile on the second. And the building has such clean, fine lines.

Looks very different and quite plain from this angle. I notice what looks like a Norfolk Island Pine (from this part of the world) peaking over the top of the building. Our beaches are lined with them too.

All those tiles - such an intricate pattern. I gave up counting when I got to 120.

The lampost really makes the picture.
