This is so strange: they look like two different types of shore pasted together. Is this the ocean or is still the river?

Thanks for your comment on my Paris blog about the Montmatre hill. And to answer your questions, yes I've had the great pleasure to visit Lisbon and its fabulous hills !
see you

What an eloquent shot. You have captured the dialogue between shore and sea here. The whispering green of transition.

Vogon Poet, it's the ocean.

Great photo! I guess once one gets past the slippery, slimy, green stuff then a swim would be nice!

I like the patterns and colors that nature has made.

What an interesting confluence of water and sand...it appears that high tide comes to exactly the same point twice a day! Is that possible?

Fascinating shot, JM!

very colorful, nice composition. the greens and the textures are great. I started a series today on my website from my photography tour. It was quite an interesting trip to the slot canyon and Vermillion Cliffs. Also, if you like travel photos, we have posted action photos from Buenos Aires, Argentina on our travel photo site, www.vivalavoyage.com. Happy Monday!

Still looks a bit too moist for tennis in Estoril but the tournament is not until March, right? ;)

Wonderful photo. Is this at sunset?

I like this type of shot a lot ... don't think I've ever seen a "green" transition to the sea before ... but I don't get to the seaside much.

Is that rock or sand? I like how the picture is broken into 3 parts.
