Bad weather

A big storm hit us last night. Heavy rains and strong winds brought chaos to many areas. I found this pool right behind my house. It seems 'summer' is definitely gone now...

mauvais temps, mais cela te permet de faire un beau reflet

Such beauty found in the aftermath of the storm.

Que bom que a tempestade passou e está tudo bem com você.
A poça é imensa, mas o reflexo é maravilhoso!
Espero que a chuva não volte aqui! Temos hoje um lindo dia de outono, sol e muiiiito frio!

The palm tree reflected in your photo looks strong enough to withstand any storm.

How fun to see the reflection of the palm tree in the pool of rainwater. It looks like a pleasant spot in any weather.

What a pretty shot ... you can't have fabulous weather all the time ... we'd get jealous.

Bad weather seems to be everywhere now, hope it gets better soon. Good occasion for an excellent photo.

I couldn't cope with your kind of summer for long. Still, who needs a storm?

marley said...

Yes, summer has long gone. Wet here too :(

Hi, JM. I've missed your blog, it looks like the storm created a perfect photographic moment.

I'm very sorry about the bad storms. We hate them here...so much damage. Your house must have survived OK?

Although we've still got another month plus to go in hurricane season, we're so glad we've come this far without one!

Very nice reflective photo!

Great photo - I really like the way the palm trees shadow takes on the pattern of the stones.
