I love the way you've cropped this JM, to give us a part of the fountain and all of that amazing stone bench.

The bench with the fountain really adds to the shot. Nice composition.

I didn't think you had gray days, there in the land of the bluest of blue skies.

it may have been a gray day, but it sure is a nice scene - great place to sit & read a book or just people watch

So, even in Portugal, you can have some grey, rainy, foggy days... Such days can also be nice - now and then! :-)

How to use colors to render a great gray. Perfect framing and composition, love the title and the atmosphere.

Very nice photo, JM. Caught the dripping water perfectly...and the bench in the background brings the whole thing together.

That bench looks rather hard even on a sunny day...but a gray day! Yikes!

Day is quite gray here too! Rainy and cold, good for staying at home and sipping some (Portuguese) wine!
God bless you!

Hi JM,
I've been enjoying your blog for several months - ever since I learned that my family and I will move to Oeiras City in January. Do you or your readers know of any houses for rent in the area?

Enough sun for some nice reflections in the water

I really like how you took this photo. is an original point of view, a different perspective, unusual.
Beautiful shot!
