Wow, that's a lot of mussels! I love the shot of the wave breaking on the rocks. The drops of water are so sharp and clear. Great work.

Lovely! I'm having visions of a little white wine, shallots, and fennel! Delicious.

One of my favorite seafoods!

Super post. Love the breaking wave. I sometimes like mussels--like in seafood stew. Over here is a place supposedly world-famous for its mussels. the are called Penn Cove Mussels and they farm them there. Very interesting. Of course there are mussels all over in the water too. MB

Were those gathered? Or is that just where you found them? There's so many!

Each of these shots is a little gem. I really smiled when I got to the mussels. Collectively they are so beautiful, at least they are the way you've composed this shot.

I love the second shot, the texture, the shine of water, the anticipation of a good meal and the bits of green among the shells. Beautiful

Mussels are good to eat because there is so much to do that it becomes a very social meal. I like this photo of them Jose. I guess they are all still attached to each other and to a rock platform.

I am not a mussels lover but these photos are really wonderful, I like the strong impression of the first with the rough sea on the rocks and the delicious (pun intended) treasure trove of the second one!

Very nice photos, JM. Did those mussels just wash up like that? I've never seen anything like it! Fascinating!

Those mussels look nice -- they would look even better on my plate.
