I'm afraid you are right.

Graffiti on this beach wall is not as offensive as on buildings in town. I think there should be a few places where graffiti is allowed so that those with a creative urge have a place for expression, without degrading the rest of the town.

Sometimes I really like graffiti but here it's just wrong.

It seems it is the same everywhere. To some people a blank wall is nothing more than a canvas for their personal use. But the lighting in the picture is very nice and kind of brings beauty to the whole scene.

This is certainly a universal problem. Many of these graffiti artists are very talented. It always makes me wonder about what amazing works of art they could create if given the right outlet.

A perfect title for a sad 'profanation'. This place is even more lovely in winter...

Yeah, a good place for graffiti could be their own homes... Inside, outside, ceilings, roofs, they could use all available space...
God bless you!

Morons in Oeiras are just like morons everywhere! It's a sad reality of life, this disrespect for people and property.

Bah, humbug!

I agree with Jacob. Don't get me started, it's a pet peeve of mine. A true artist respects the property of others and finds a venue for their art that is appropriate, even if it's on a blank wall in their OWN HOME!

Yes, the morons in Oeiras have the same illness as here ,further north.
Otherwise, it looks nice and warm...Enjoy it!

Tut, tut, the youth of today!

Although, I seem to remember there was graffiti in Pompei, Tut, tut, the youth of every generation!

Wow...I guess some feel differently. Gee, I thought graffiti was just that? I don't like tatoos either..wait, a tasteful one..hmm? I think because everyone has to see it..on a level like boom boxes..so a bad idea?
