Nice of you to put the Haitian Earthquake Relief on your sidebar. What a disaster. I guess the Portuguese know what a quake is like.
Makes one enjoy being able to hang clean laundry on a standing building. You might like what the interesting BiblePlaces blog just posted about doing laundry in the old days in Palestine: http://blog.bibleplaces.com/
Adoro!!! the wall tiles and gorgeous juliette balcony makes this pic a fanastic capture!!! you know me and architectural details!!! funny how this is so typical and acceptable, but in South Africa it's considered a no-no!!!! Gena @ thinking aloud
These folks aren't shy about showing off their underpants! Funky shot.
Re: Gators...We've eaten there several times, and I can't tell you if they serve alligator or not! I just didn't bother to check. But I will next time and let you know.
People tell me it tastes like chicken. But then that's what I hear about frog legs, too...so, I dunno!
The charm of seeing this beautifuk ceramic wall ... and the hanging laundry! No chance to see this in Paris, at least not the laundry, forbidden to be hung outside buildings!

muito gira esta foto! Adoro nosso Portugal assim...
Lol, hope it'll not be dust covered when it's dried.
I love this photo JM!
I like the colors on the building--the underwear not so much! Great capture of everyday life.
I like it!:-)
Great shot, postcard for me!
Was this before or after the snow? ;-)
Wouldn't work here: it's raining.
With this weather they ought to catch the moment, a very nice picture.

Laundry day :-)
I'm with afv - let's hope there's not too much dust flying around or they might need another white-wash rather soon...

I guess we don't have to wonder anymore what kind of undergarments they wear!
Wonderful, JM.
Tell me those are not yours.
I really like those pastel colors on the side of the building, so pretty!
Well somebody has to live in those gorgeous old apartments, right? ;)
Delightful shot ... not sure I'd like to have my undies on such public display.
As is said---let it all hang out. Must mean laundry. Cute. MB
