Love that picture. Nice shadow of the dog too.

JM, I love the counterbalance of the girl and the dog, of the curl and the stone, and that little line of cars. This is an excellent composition.

Apesar de estar uma boa foto, penso que poderia ser melhor aproveitada se se enquadrasse apenas o cenário central (a casa, o cão e a mulher)...

This is a neat contrast of girl and dog on that mill? This is at Carcavelos beach..what kind of mill I wonder? Really nice shadows as well.

Artwork. The man's figure, dog, dog's shadow, house, all of them transfer special harmony. And blue sky connects all.

Nice catch, Jose. Wonder what they are resting up from? Do you think the owner might get angry to find these two desecrating his mill?

If so, just scare him away with the dog's shadow...that would do it!

Awesome!

I could totally see myself reading a book in that very spot!

I love how the dog's shadow is part of the composition too!

Great photo today, and you have had some wonderful photos this week, including the monument to the Discoveries and the view of the Cathedral in Lisbon, both of which rekindle fond memories of our visit to those places.

I noticed your comment on our Viva la Voyage website, which happened to show Machu Picchu photos this week. The news and video of the floods and the evacuation of tourists are quite dramatic. I hope the area recovers quickly, as it will be an economic hardship for the people without tourists being able to reach the area.

I'm imagining a beautiful view from where he is sitting.

It's good for me to read the comments. They helped see details that I had missed. At first the photo mostly looked to be about intersecting lines. finally I realized there's a lot going on here. A really good photo. thanks.

I love this shot so much. Methinks what could he be contemplating up there.
