First king named Pedro

Modern statue (1963) of King Pedro I (1320-1367) in front of one of the City Hall buildings (early 19th century) at Cascais.

A great blue sky as background of a royal composition. The statue is quite modern but still solemn, the City Hall building is really elegant.

Beautiful sculpture, I liked a lot the tower bell detail in this building.
