Friends

Enjoying the shy sun on the banks of the big pond at Quinta da Alagoa Park.
Turtles are coming out of hibernation; I didn't see any a week or two ago.

Friends, and such close friends! Life at the pond seems good.

A little sunshine to warm the soul and in this case the feathers and the shells.

Very cool photo. I wonder if the duck fell after her/his large turtle friend went into the water? :)

This is a cute shot. The turtles must have a hard time climbing on those rocks.

I think the duck and the turtles were having a "playdate."

The turtles must have come out of hibernation because they anticipated the warm sun.

I notice that the duck is paying no attention at all to those turtles! The sun may have put all of them to sleep!

Oh my goodness..these are so nice together! We used to have turtles growing up as a child in California..I like to watch them in the sea now.
