What a great door with its stained glass and panels. I like the way glass was installed up top for light. Hopefully, both the house and door will be lovingly restored. Imagine what the 'before' and 'after' photos would look like!
Cheers.

It is still a beautiful shade of blue.

I love it!
I am also thinking that I probably would have stopped just in front of that beautiful old door....
We like similar things perhaps??
Enjoy your day!

Oh so sad. It looks like someone loved it--once. MB

At one time, this must have been a beauty. Several years ago I did a series on doors on my Mazatlan blog; it was fun!

Doors can be so interesting and this one is gorgeous. The peeling paint only adds to it's character.

Gorgeous door-- this could only be in Europe! I wish we took such pride in our entryways here. Even in its neglect, it remains beautiful.

Though it's a bit of a shame, I like the photogenic effect of the derelict walls and colours...

Even in this state it's really beautiful doorway! I can imagine it in its best days.

You could easily sell that artsy photo at an art fair over here! Lovely!

A very interesting door, someone took some care of it once. It's a pity to see this so badly damaged now. Great image anyway.

Beautiful! I was out shooting yesterday and took a photo of a door in an abandoned house too but no doors in my country are quite that gorgeous.

It knows and can tell us a lot of stories about еhe people who shook hands with its' door knob.
And the colors so juicy.

It is amazing how nice this door looks even though it's all beat up and falling apart! Must have been something to see when it was in pristine shape! Very fine photo, JM!

Re your comment on Florida Fotos: I was going to ask you what the bird was...I think it is a stork but I'm not sure. Maybe it was out in the Florida sun too long? ;-)

Wish you great weekend:-)

JM!

There's so much character to that door! Isn't it funny how things so worn and weathered are actually more beautiful than things brand new?

What a stunning photo! I love pictures of old doors, and this one is particularly pretty because of the colours.
