Thank you for your comment on my other blog. The place is Blessington Lake, south of Dublin, Ireland, february, 4.30 PM, through a bus window, on a very cold day. I see what you mean when you think of Egypt, could perfectly be the Nile, somewhere in the desert.

A good book, a weekend off... Wonder if the room with the balcony is free.
A very good place to stay, it seems. And not so expensive either, for a four star hotel of this kind.
For a few Euros, I could buy it and convert it into a little summer cottage for my family and friends! Smashing!
