Wonderful composition! I love the peek we are getting at the laundry hanging on the line.

cela rapelle une rue dans un de nos vieux villages de l'Essonne. J'aime bien cette tonalité

I love the weathered old look in this image. It has that appeal.

You are reminding me to post some more decay, we need to, sometimes. Great picture anyway!

This is really good JM! Love the colors, laundry, and character of the wall. Do you know how old it is?

I remember some other of your shots of this "oldest" street. I'm hoping that portions of it will be restored so that it doesn't fall to bulldozers and "developers"!

@T. Beque: Oeiras celebrated its 250th anniversary last year, the street must be about this old.

@Jacob: There are some restored houses in this street but, in fact, I find the 'falling apart' part much more interesting! :-)

The oldest and still really nice, even if a bit neglected!

Norwich Daily Photo is back online. Sorry I've been away so long. I look forward to your visit and your comments. See you soon!

Love the photo of all this decay. How come decay is usually photogenic?

What a fine composition this is, JM.

I love it. And the peek at clean white washing adds another dimension ... showing it's not abandoned just aging interestingly.

Old old, but good to still see a sign of life there on the laundry line.

Ai que pena, dá uma dor no coraçao ver um lugar assim em completo abandono!
Bom...pelo menos eles estão cuidando da roupa! LOL
