une belle mosaïque sur cette vieille fenêtre, les deux vont très bien ensemble

I guess some downtowns would die to have such decay.

So beautiful. The curtains match the tile. I don't get a feel of decay here. More of great age.

I hope the owner doesn't let it decay further — that tilework, and even the ironwork, is too beautiful to lose.

The tiles hide the decay.

That beautiful, bright tile appears to be holding up the rest of the building.

Sad to see it decline in appearance but it sure makes a great blog posting! I love, love the blue tiles around the French doors (or Portuguese doors)!
Bon weekend

The tiles still stand out thankfully. But for how long?

What did they add to the blue that it still keeps being blue and does not fade? I like the photo very much. The attempts to repair the blue decor look so nice.

it's funny the two sides of blue tiles are not equal.

The tiles give emphasis to the term "true blue." Beautiful tiles in your country, JM!

A very classy kind of decay...

Sad. What can be done? The tile work is splendid, but it looks like it will all crumble to dust soon.

The tiles seem to be doing better than the stone. The blue and white is beautiful.
