I couldn't agree more. I've noticed since the put the light rail line down Central Ave. in Phoenix, it's very hard to get photos along the streets without those cables. I just need to stop trying.
That is a big private residence up there on that hill.
The fantastic house, any story behind? I assume there is a great view from that balcony. As for the cables, I don't see them at all (city inhabitant's defence :-)).
Oh gosh, you're so right! I often get annoyed by tram or electrical cables preventing me from getting the clearest picture! Then you've turned it all upside down making it the "theme" of your post! Brilliant! God bless you! Cezar
Nice tribute to trams and the house...one can only imagine a view! By the way, my knowledge of pines is limited, but I reckon that there are at least several different kinds of them - in my close neighberhood there are four different types. Thanks for linking my other blog:)
Those lines make me so mad sometimes because I want that 'perfect' picture---but they're there so what can one do. The building is a private residence? Yipes!!! MB
Funny, I was looking in the cables for something like shoes (like a shoe tree). You are so right. I think we have to deal with them. I can't get away from them here!

What a house. I didn't even notice the cables until I read your caption.
Fear not tram cables and power lines will be relics of a bygone era soon... why not already???
We have the same problem with power and telephone cables. Some are so thick and tangled, they're the first thing you'll notice in the photo!
This 'house' is a veritable castle! It looks like it has a dungeon too. :)
A very stately house on high.
Cables. So that's what we can expect if/when the tram gets finished next year?

That's kinda like finding lemons and making lemonade!
Nicely done. I do like the house. And "stately" is the right word. Zounds!
I was fighting with cables almost twice taking pictures this afternoon, so I totally agree with you...

That's big for a private house.
I agree, those and power lines, sometimes you just can't get around them. But I was more focused on the house too - very neat.
trams are great to use but i don't like looking at the lines.
That's quite a magnificent mansion! Fun to catch up on your blog today!

Great shot. You perfectly managed the cables
Tram cables? Vegas is full of electrical wires everywhere, which makes one wonder if it's not a temporary town.
The house is fantastic.
