Great "advertising" is done on the shop's wall! I like it a lot! And true, not many shoe repair services nowadays... I guess it's because they're made so cheap and with poor materials that it makes more sense buy new when one pair wears out... God bless you! Cezar
Believe it or not, there are quite a few shoe repair shops here in Salem. I never see any one inside, and I've never brought in a pair of shoes to repair, but they must have business coming from somewhere.
I like this a lot...very dramatic and I'm sure an attention-getter. Nope, we have very few of these shoe repair places left. I think shoes last longer than they used to because we all have more shoes to wear and when we wear them out we just throw them out!
Honestly, I don't know of any. I'm sure there must be one somewhere. This may be a commentary on economic status. My shoes are not so expensive that I would fix them!

Shame that they do not have more moustaches like that in real life

A few, but most of them not particularly good. I use the good ones though but I don't think I've ever seen one with such a lovely graphic!
we still have some in town but they don't rely on cobbling only - most have diversified into cutting keys and other related services.
Very rare, indeed.
I know few good secret places in my town - priceless info.
Good photo.
Not many in Stavanger either...
Well that should say BOOTS. MB
Rare indeed---good one anyway. Try to find a good place to have cowboy boods resoled and restitched. Few and far between. Love the mustachioed man.
cool !

Regrettably true that they are more difficult to find, but as we hardly leave our shoes for repairs, what can you expect?
We have a great one in Larchmont but nothing close as a window designer!
Non many, I can't think of one seen recently, and this one is very nice and original.
