The Atlantic coast of Portugal is indeed well positioned to end the day with a sunset over the ocean, which is the perfect orientation. It is much better than those who live looking eastward to the ocean, as (1) sunsets are better than sunrises, and (2) who wants to wake up early to savor a sunrise?
JM, recalling your experiences with white-faced Capuchin monkeys, I thought you would want ot know that I have a few days of posts about them on my site beginning today
@Dave: Actually sunsets, as seen from this coast (Lisbon-Cascais), are more beautiful in winter because now the sun sets over Cascais and not over the ocean horizon line.
Hi JM! Re your comment on Cedar Key DP: I think you would really like the airboats. They can go places ordinary boats can't. In the Cedar Key area you can get into the back bays where the water level is very low. They're used extensively in the Everglades and many tours are available.
BEAUTIFUL!! The title made me sad though, I guess because it's the end. I always think days are way too short (unless of course you're stuck in some meeting). Sorry, I may be feeling this way because school begins in two weeks (teacher). Well, thanks for the therapy session! :)

Awesome sunset!
Well, my friend, you take a back seat to no one on this shot! Perfection. Perfect title, too.
