Looks like a great spot on a nice day.

@Olivier: I think the french word for cape is 'cap' (i.e. Cap Ferrat).

Sounds like a place where close inspection might be fun!

I want to sit on the edge & read a book or dive off - Looks like a beautiful place to do either!

Like the perspective, with the high horizon and this amazing gradation from blue to earthly colours.

@Dina and Sharon: If you look at the top of the cliff you can see many whitish fossils. Darker ones are not so visible in this photo.

I'd like to sit out there too and just watch the water!

Gorgeous place and I love your composition, really gives the feeling of being there, looking down into the water. I never tire of these shots either!

The evolution of our planet is so incredibly interesting. We have areas in the middle of the U.S., high and dry for millions of years, full of fossils from when they were underwater.

Beautiful shot, JM!

It's fascinating to see fossils buried within "walls" like this - the history! Beautiful scene too.

Too bad the sea temperature is not warm enough for me ...

So beautiful... I love the contrast of the sea with the land, and the connexion of all the living things inside each one.

The colors are amazing on this "cooling" photo. It is so hot on the Gulf Coast (USA) that we need such visual relief. Merci!
